About

I am a Queensland born,  Australian artist who loves colour and movement in art. I believe that art is an expression of our heart’s understanding of LIFE and has the power to transform lives.  Art is capable of engaging and enriching the spirit. It bypasses our intellect and touches the depth of our souls.

‘My art is expressed with varying degrees of abstraction and representation exploring  the landscape and taking the ordinariness of life and moving it toward the extraordinary.
The beauty of art is that it takes us somewhere else, to moments in time, and places that encapsulate meaning.
My style has a visual intensity that of late has developed  greater fluidity, with emphasis on movement and freedom. Ultimately it is all about exploring the creativity given to us by our God and expressing thanks to Him.’

I work in a studio that is a converted railway carriage on the northside of Brisbane. I exhibit at Hamilton Island Gallery and have work in the collections of the Redcliffe Museum and Moreton Regional Gallery. I have exhibited at Galleria Monteolivetto in  Naples, Italy and  was artist in residence in Nice, France.
